System Authority Levels
Prerequisites:
Authority Levels in Setup > System allow system administrators access to some or all areas located within the System area.
The same application password and user ID is used to access the System area when granted. Each component is independent of other components and must be secured individually for the selected user.
IMPORTANT: If Institution Focus is turned on (an add-on feature), System Admin rights will enable the <none> option in the Focus menu box.
To grant user rights to the System area:
- Go to Setup > System > Authority Levels
- Click Add
- In Person, select the desired user from the list of people.
- Review each component and select only the components the user can access. See Authority Levels Field Descriptions topic for field level information.
- Click Save.
