SMS Manager Field Descriptions

| Enable Service | Enables or disables the Line Manager. |
| Verify SMS | Sends an SMS confirmation message to personnel who opted to set up SMS in their Contact Methods, but the person did not complete and confirmed the process. |
| Send Test Message | Sends a test SMS message to one phone number
when provided in the Send Test SMS dialog box. Format: E164,

SMS Configuration
| Field | SMS Manager Field Description |

| Maximum Attempts* | The number of attempts that should be made to communicate with the SMS provider. |
| Wait Timeout (ms)* | The time in milliseconds to wait between retries when communicating with the SMS provider. |
| Send From Number* | The phone number your SMS provider supplies.

SMS Settings

| Include Send From Number | Displays the provider’s phone number in the message. |
| Send Environment Variable | Displays the database Environment Name in the message. Example: Test, Production |
| Send Year | Displays the year in the message. |
| Send Institution | Displays the Institution name in the message. |
| Send Agency | Displays the Agency name in the message. |
| Send Battalion | Displays the Battalion name in the message. |
| Send Station | Displays the Station name in the message. |
| Send Unit | Displays the Unit name in the message |
| Send Shift | Displays the Shift name in the message. |
Provider: Twilio

| Provider* | The SMS provider. Select TWILIO. |
| Account SID* | A unique account number from the provider. Can consist of lowercase characters and digits. Max: 34 characters. |
| Authorization Token* | A unique 32 character token from the provider. Can consist of lowercase characters and digits. |
| Activate Twillo Copilot Services | Enables the Twilio Copilot Services. If you have multiple Twilio phone numbers, Twilio Copilot Services spreads your outbound messaging traffic evenly across all phone numbers in your Number Pool. When a message is sent from a number pool, the Send From Number* will vary and selected from the phone numbers not currently in use in your number pool. See Twilio’s documentation for additional information. |
| Service SID* | A unique 34 character ID from the provider. Can consist of uppercase and lowercase characters and digits. |
Google Firebase Dynamic Links
Dynamic links are - optional. Dynamic links are used in this application to shorten the length of the URL in the SMS received by the user; otherwise, URLs could be long.
PREREQUISITE:
Must have a Google Firebase Dynamic Link set up and the firebasedynamiclinks.googleapis.com domain must be welcome-listed prior to enabling the Firebase Dynamic link area in this application.
