People Filter

The People Filter feature is a people search engine used to save time and facilitate scheduling tasks. The People Filter is available on the Roster and the Calendar.

The People Filter scans every active person in the database to validate whether the person meets the selected filter criteria to return pass or fail logic. This feature queries items located in the following areas of the application for the target date provided:

  • Person’s Profile - items found on the person’s Profile tab.
  • Person’s Assignment - items found on the person’s Assignment tab.
  • Roster - items found on the Roster.
  • Person Skills & Certifications - items of type Skills and Certifications; and Employee Category.

People Filter Features:1

  • Users with People Filter access can save personal filters and apply their default filter.
  • Global System Administrators can make a Global Default Filter.
  • My < ... > filters target organization levels that match the logged in user’s active assignment, such as My Institution, My Agency, My Region, My Station, and My Unit. For example, the filter “My Institution” returns people that have the same institution as the logged in user. “My...” type filters optimize and improve Roster load times when used along with the Global Default Filter option, and most notable in database environments with large institution populations.
  • Exclude Scheduled Into check box on the Filter Edit panel is used to exclude scheduled into personnel from People Filter results. Available when Institution Focus is enabled.
