Name | A label for this authority that will appear in applicable drop-down menus. |
Mapped ID | An internal identifier used to map this Authority in a source environment to the same Authority in the destination environment via the People Operational Data Manager. Mapped IDs must be unique and must match the target setup item to import. Max Length: 50 characters |
Classification* |
Classification is a required system defined field. This system dynamically determines the classification for the holder of this authority based on the permission settings selected in addition to the Organizational Level selected. Classification is further used to determine whether a person can opt out of Multi-factor authentication. Classification roles available in this application include:
To control whether MFA is required for Users, you must have Admin access to Institutions in Setup, Administrative permission in Authority Levels, and cannot have Support User or Integration User assigned. |
Organization Level | Determines the section within the organizational structure the user can affect, manage, and/or control. |
Restrict | When checked, prevents authorized users who
can edit profiles from increasing system permissions using the Authority Override field
in Profiles. See Restrict Check Box topic for more information. Note: Restricted Authorities are only accessible to users who have the permission Setup: Authority which is typically given to Full Access users. |
Settings | These are permission settings that allow the selected Authority to have access to that object within the application when checked. |
Unique Identifier | The application internal Workforce ID used to reference this Authority. |
