Static and Bidding Quantities Examples

Use cases:

Suppose that your organization only allows three people to take a vacation day on Christmas Day. The configuration or make up of the three people is not a factor - only the person’s order in the Bidders List or Winners List matters. Because of this, only a Static Quantity of three for an Auction Item date of Dec 25th is needed.

Suppose that your organization allows 1 Captain, 2 Lieutenants, and 3 other bidders to take a vacation day on Christmas Day for a total of six people. Using a Static Max Quantity of zero (0) for an Auction Item date of Dec 25th and setting the Dynamic Bidding Quantities as shown in the table below will allow 1 Captain, 2 Lieutenants, and 3 other bidders (except Captain and Lieutenants) to win Dec 25th.
